The short version

Your ideas stay yours. We claim no ownership of anything you submit and we won't build your idea out from under you.

GRADE gives you an AI-generated opinion, not professional advice and not a prediction. A high score is not a promise that your idea will work, and a low score is not proof that it won't. Use it as one input, not a verdict on your life's work.

What GRADE is

You submit an idea, business, script, or document. We send it to an AI model, which scores it against a fixed rubric and writes an analysis. You get the score, the verdict, and the reasoning back. That's the product.

What GRADE is not

Not professional advice. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, or business advice, and no relationship of that kind is created by using it.
Not a prediction. The score reflects a model's reading of a rubric at one moment. Real outcomes depend on execution, timing, capital, and luck, none of which we can see.
Not a substitute for your own judgment. If GRADE and your gut disagree, that's information — not an instruction.

Who owns what

You own your submissions. Every idea, plan, script, and document you put into GRADE remains entirely yours. We take no license to commercialize it, publish it, or develop it ourselves. We store it only to run the service and show you your own results.

We own GRADE itself — the rubric, the site, and the wording of the analysis. The specific report we generate for you is yours to use however you like, including sharing it with investors, partners, or clients.

Your account

Give us a real email address; it's how we identify your account and your purchases.
You're responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it.
One person or business per account. Don't resell access.

Paying for it

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy and charged in US dollars.
Screening credits are consumed when a grade is generated. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel a subscription at any time through the customer portal or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn't retroactively refund the current period.

Refunds

We'd rather refund you than argue with you.

If it broke — the grade failed to generate, came back empty, or is obviously garbled — tell us and we'll refund it in full or re-run it, your choice.
Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase.
Used credits generally aren't refundable, because the analysis has already been produced and delivered. But if you genuinely feel the output was worthless, email us and make the case — a person reads it.

Acceptable use

Don't use GRADE to:

Submit someone else's confidential information, or content you have no right to share.
Submit unlawful material, or use the output to plan anything unlawful.
Attack, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
Resell or rebrand the output as your own assessment product.

We can suspend accounts that do these things.

Availability

We aim to keep GRADE running but don't promise uninterrupted service. It's a small operation, and things occasionally break, get maintained, or depend on providers outside our control. If an outage costs you credits, we'll make it right.

Limits on liability

GRADE is provided "as is," without warranties beyond those the law won't let us disclaim. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, or business decisions made in reliance on a score.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, in which case they simply don't apply to you.

Ending things

You can stop using GRADE and ask us to delete your data at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, and we'll tell you why if we do.

Changes

If we change these terms we update this page and move the date. Material changes get called out rather than quietly edited in. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
